The three-part thriller, created by writer and director Joe Ahearne, was filmed and set in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. The series stars Morven Christie, Vicky McClure, Richard Rankin (Outlander), and Dougray Scott.
Morven Christie plays Ellen, an architect, who is expecting her first child. Her firm decides to bring in maternity cover, Paula, played by Vicky McClure. Initially Ellen and Paula get on, but Ellen begins to fear that Paula is taking over her professional and personal life.
