TV PLACEMENT - "AMERICAN WOMAN" FEATURES "SOLDADO DE AMOR" BY MONICA DA SILVA

Updated: Aug 1, 2022

The Paramount Network licenses Monica da Silva's song "Soldado de Amor”, for Season 1, Episode 3 of their new series “American Woman”.

“Soldado de Amor” is a haunting, Brazilian ballad, reminiscent of the Bossa Nova of years gone by. We think the song painted the perfect mood for the scene. Check out the video clip, to see how “Soldado de Amor” was featured in “American Woman”.

An American comedy series, inspired by the childhood of actress and Real Housewife of Beverly Hills reality star Kyle Richards, the series stars Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari, and Jennifer Bartels.

Set amid the sexual revolution and rise of feminism of the 1970s, “American Woman” follows Bonnie (Silverstone), an unconventional mother struggling to raise her two daughters, after leaving her husband. With the help of her two best friends, Kathleen (Suvari), and Diana (Bartels), these three women each discover their own brand of independence, in a glamorous and ever-changing world reluctant to give it.
