Monica Driscoll, known professionally as Monica da Silva, is a Brazilian-American singer-songwriter.
Back to His Girl was also featured in the 2017 movie Lady Bird, written and directed by Greta Gerwig in her solo directorial debut. The film was chosen by the National Board of Review, the American Film Institute, and Time magazine as one of the top 10 films of the year. It has also received four nominations at the 75th Golden Globe Awards: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actress – Musical or Comedy for Saoirse Ronan, Best Supporting Actress for Laurie Metcalf, and Best Screenplay.
